Summary

The Browns not only need to patch holes currently on their roster, but also plan for what looks like the inevitable departure of multiple key free agents. While they drafted two linebackers last year in Sione Takitaki and Mack Wilson to cover the potential loss of Joe Schobert, Higgins, and Randall could all be heading out the door as well.

Davis, Thomas, and the already rostered Forbes could all be starters in 2020 if this mock draft were to come to life, replacing the three previously mentioned Browns in the last year of their contracts. This makes great use of their third, and seventh-round picks here.

It is absolutely a necessity for the Browns to address the offensive and defensive trenches early and often this offseason as teams have been able to run the ball on this defensive line at will and flood the backfield against the offensive line as well.

Landing Thomas would be a huge get for the Browns if he is on the board when they are picking; adding a second tackle prospect with high upside in the fourth round is a low-risk, high reward pick for Cleveland as well.

dark. Next. Browns thinking OBJ trade already?

Gallimore would give the Browns an athletic freak to add to their defensive line and give them great depth next to Richardson and Ogunjobi. Baun helps to clean up the mess that the Browns created themselves at the defensive end position as well.
