Expose Buffalo’s Rushing Defense

This season, Nick Chubb has become one of the league’s truly elite running backs. Behind the obvious MVP-caliber performances week in and week out from Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey, Chubb might be the best rusher in the league this year.

His bruising, powerful running style has kept tacklers at bay all season, and he is the only running back in the AFC averaging over 100 yards on the ground per game.

The Buffalo Bills just so happen to be fantastic on the defensive side of the ball. Except, of course, when it comes to tackling running backs. Despite the Bills’ solid defensive unit, their one obvious weakness conveniently plays to Cleveland’s biggest strength. However, this week, Chubb won’t be running alone.

The Browns will get former Kansas City Chiefs running back Kareem Hunt back for Week 10 against the Bills. Even if he hasn’t played an NFL football game in nearly a calendar year, Hunt was one of the league’s bright young stars alongside Patrick Mahomes in the Chiefs’ backfield in 2017 and 2018. The Browns have the upper hand in the running game, and they should make full use of that advantage on Sunday.
