Predicting the final 6 Cleveland Browns games in 2019
By Randy Gurzi
Week 14 vs. Cincinnati Bengals
This one will be fun. The Cincinnati Bengals are a complete mess this season and they’ll be rolling out Ryan Finley for the first time in the Dawg Pound. He surely can’t be any worse than what Andy Dalton was doing for them in recent weeks but they have to see what they have — especially considering they’ll most likely have the No. 1 pick in the draft.
Cincinnati will have to decide whether or not they need to go after a new gun-slinger, and that could also be a move in question following the injury to Tua Tagovailoa this weekend. The consensus No. 1 pick suffered a serious hip injury and could be questionable entering next season.
Of course, none of that has any bearing on this game. Instead, this will be all about the current Bengals roster which isn’t very good. And they have just as many questions about their head coach, if not more, than the Browns do.
Zac Taylor was signed simply because he worked under Sean McVay at Los Angeles. Before working under the coach everyone wanted to clone this offseason, Taylor was primarily a position coach. So far, he’s been struggling and has yet to get a win.
He’ll have to hope his team wins before this game because it’s not happening here. Cleveland wins once again, making it a crazy five in a row.
Result: Cleveland wins
Record: 7-6
