Week 16 vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Browns seemed to have a signature win early this season as they knocked off the Baltimore Ravens at home 40-25. At that time, they were 2-2 and tied for first place with the team they just knocked off.

Unfortunately, they went from a team on the verge of breaking out, to one that was in a free fall. They had four-straight losses after the win and were suddenly 2-6.

That naturally led to questions about everything. The head coach was a concern and NFL insiders were even claiming Freddie Kitchens nearly got fired. And Baker Mayfield, who broke the rookie record for touchdown passes, was also being highly criticized. There was even a small section of Cleveland fans ready to see if Garrett Gilbert could get it done.

Wisely, the Browns never even considered toying with the position and Kitchens started to get a few things figured out in the past two weeks. And if these predictions hold up, they enter this one as one of the hottest teams in the NFL.

However, the Ravens are no slackers and they’re not proud of how they were outplayed in Week 4. They get their revenge here and lock up the division. Thankfully, the Browns are still winning at this point and can play for a wildcard spot in the final week of the season.

Result: Cleveland loses
Record: 8-7
