Instant reactions to Cleveland Browns Week 12 victory over the Dolphins

Browns limit mistakes, take control of game
For almost the entire season, the Cleveland Browns making mistakes has cost them multiple wins. With the amount of talent they have on the roster, they should be taking command of games and have control for a large portion of the game. But the mistakes they make do not give the Browns those opportunities.
Against the Dolphins, the Browns made very few mistakes in the first half, and it allowed their talent to shine. Landry was making plays all over the field. Mayfield and Beckham connected on a 35-yard touchdown. Chubb and Hunt were running all over the Miami defense. Then Cleveland’s defense played fundamental football and took away almost everything for the Miami offense. That built the Browns a 25-point lead at halftime.
But during the second half and the Browns started to compile penalties and make questionable play-calls and decisions, Miami was able to come back into the game. Fortunately for the Browns, because of their clean first half, it gave them wiggle room to endure the comeback attempt and still come away with a victory.
Although it should have happened already this season, the Browns cleaning up their mistakes gave the Browns control of the game. Because of that, they are able to take some punches back from the opponent and still come away with a victory.
Once Cleveland can play a full 60 minutes of a mostly clean football game, they have the talent to play with any team in the league. If the Browns can play the rest of the season like they did in the first half, Cleveland should have a successful second half of the season.
