Stud: Larry Ogunjobi

The Cleveland Browns defensive line has been tested over the past few weeks with the absence of Myles Garrett. With someone needing to step up and become a pass rushing threat, the Browns are received a big boost from the interior with Larry Ogunjobi.

More from Browns News

Ogunjobi was a problem for the Cincinnati offensive line, as Ogunjobi was consistently around the ball and finishing plays. The defensive tackle led the Browns on Sunday with nine total tackles, including 0.5 sack and three quarterback hits.

The Browns are struggling to generate much of a rush off the edge. But Ogunjobi’s ability to create a rush up the middle Sunday made it tough for Andy Dalton to sit in the pocket. He may only have finished the game with 0.5 sack, but Ogunjobi was consistently in Dalton’s face.

Cleveland’s defense was picked apart by Joe Mixon and the Cincinnati rushing attack. However, Ogunjobi did well to stuff the middle and make it difficult for Mixon to break free through the middle of the field.

It is rare for a defensive tackle to lead his team in tackles, but it goes to show Ogunjobi’s effort on Sunday. He was up and down the line making plays and became a thorn in the side of the Bengals offense.
