5 Cleveland Browns bold predictions against the Cardinals
The defense will force 3 turnovers
The Cleveland Browns defense finally broke the seal on the endzone last week when Denzel Ward intercepted a pass and took it 61 yards to the house. It was the first defensive touchdown the Browns have scored since the 2017 season. This week, the Browns will continue to make difference-making plays on that side of the ball.
The Browns defense won’t get into the endzone again this week, but they will give their offense the ball multiple times with a short field to work with. As they tend to do, interceptions and fumbles come in bunches. This Sunday, the turnovers will be the story of the game for Steve Wilks’ unit. The defense will generate three turnovers against the Cardinals.
On top of the three turnovers, the Browns will also sack Kyler Murray four times. It will be the most successful day rushing the passer that the Browns have had since Myles Garrett was suspended. The Browns will have their work cut out for them. Murray is extremely elusive in the pocket and the defense will have to stay disciplined in order to corral him.
It will be a good day in the desert for the Browns defense, who could use a good confidence builder going into their game with Baltimore in Week 16. This Sunday should do just the trick.
