Game: Cleveland Browns (6-7) at Arizona Cardinals (3-9-1)

Summary: The Cleveland Browns have a must-win game on their hands when they travel out west to take on the Arizona Cardinals. With their destiny no longer solely in their control, the Browns must win out to have a shot at any scenario that would put them in the playoffs. In effect, the Browns playoff run started last week.

The Browns offense should be effective this week facing a struggling Cardinals defense. With a passing defense that is at the very bottom of the league and a middle of the road run defense, the Browns need to dictate the terms of engagement and take it to Arizona.

If Cleveland can get Chubb and Hunt going, the rest should take care of itself from there. Baker Mayfield should have himself quite a day through the air, and the usual suspects should reap the benefits. David Njoku should actually play a factor this week.

Cleveland’s defense will have some dynamic playmakers to contend with, but if the offense can get them out to a lead, Joe Schobert and company could have a fun afternoon in Glendale. It will all come down to how they decide to defend rookie quarterback Kyler Murray.

The Browns need to get pressure with their front four and force Murray into making mistakes. Turnovers need to be the focus of the day. If the Browns play to their strengths and not get caught up in what the Cardinals do, they should leave the desert with an elusive road victory.

Prediction: Browns 28, Cardinals 23
