Stud: Nick Chubb

Nick Chubb once again put this team on his back when they needed it. Down 14-0, he completely took over as he accounted for 59-yards on an 83-yard scoring drive. He capped that off with his eighth touchdown of the season, which he ran in from 33-yards out.

He’s quietly been their best player and has become the top running back in the NFL. The problem is, the Browns continually get away from using him. Head coach Freddie Kitchens and the Browns want to try and force it deep to Odell Beckham, Jr. and Jarvis Landry — which rarely works.

Eventually, they come to the realization that the ball needs to go to No. 24. After the score, credit was being given to Kitchens for getting back to the basics and handing the ball to their top guy. The real question is why they have to wait until things fall apart to give him the ball more. And why when he is running it well do they stop?

Chubb was unstoppable on the day as he wound up gaining 127 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries. He added another 21 yards on three catches as he continues to shine for the Browns. Just imagine how good he could be if they were to lean on him more often.
