Game: Cleveland Browns (6-9) at Cincinnati Bengals (1-14)

Summary: There’s no way this game could possibly have any less intrigue to it. Last week, the Bengals lost again which solidified them as the absolute worst team in the NFL this season. That means they ‘won’ the Burrow Bowl and will be able to land LSU quarterback Joe Burrow.

This could end up helping their franchise a lot, but as long as the ownership stays the same, they won’t be willing to pay to put the talent around him to remain a constant threat. But that’s for another day.

More from Browns News

As for the Browns, they are coming off yet another frustrating loss. They dropped one to the Baltimore Ravens, which in itself isn’t anything to be too mad about. But the way they lost is.

Cleveland played Baltimore tight for the first 28 minutes then went into full implosion mode. They not only surrendered 14-points in the final two minutes, but they managed to do so despite the Ravens having zero timeouts. They then gave up another touchdown to start the third quarter and it was over after that.

On paper, they should be able to finish this game strong against the Bengals and they really are the better team. The question is whether or not they can get out of their own way. As long as Freddie Kitchens is in charge, I don’t think they can.

Reports are surfacing that Kitchens is still safe. That will change after this one.

Prediction: Cincinnati 20, Cleveland 16
