No. 10: Peyton Hillis (2010)

Peyton Hillis was a monster in the 2010 NFL season. Growing up as a kid, watching Peyton Hillis run all over teams was magical. He was a force to be reckoned with in 2010, but never performed up to his potential any other season for the rest of his career.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

Racking up 13 total touchdowns, 11 rushing and two passing, 1,177 rushing yards on 4.4 yards per carry, 61 catches, and 477 yards, he was the lifeline of that Browns offense. He was a much-needed crutch for the offense which was manned by Colt McCoy, Jake Delhomme, and Seneca Wallace, who all got four or more starts during the season.

Playing well enough to earn himself the spot on the cover of Madden 12, he also ended up falling victim to the Madden curse. Surprisingly enough, even though he was on the cover of Madden, he did not make the Pro Bowl.

The next season, Hillis would only play in 10 games for the Browns, racking up 587 yards and three touchdowns on a lackluster 3.6 yards per carry, and would walk in free agency. He would never see over 310 yards in a season again, as he became a backup in Kansas City and then with the Giants before his NFL career was over.

If you were a Browns fan in 2010, you either owned or wanted to own a Peyton Hillis jersey. Shoutout to those who still wear their Hillis jerseys to the games to this day and will still wear them in 2020.
