1. Elijah Wilkinson, Denver Broncos

Elijah Wilkinson is early into his career in the NFL but he can learn and still would place as a backup. Another undrafted kid, Wilkinson joined the Denver Broncos in 2017 out of Massachusetts in 2017 and will be entering free agency this season.

According to PFF Wilkinson, in his small sample size, graded higher than Chris Hubbard and that’s all I really care about, production.

Can you get the job done? Wilkinson may be a poor candidate on paper, but I am a firm believer in being able to mold a young player into what you want and to what you want for your team. Besides, I would not want Wilkinson as a starter, especially not in his first year in Cleveland.

He’s a project at best but a young player who has some experience and is young enough to learn and grow.

If the Browns are going to overhaul their current tackles and offensive line backups, why not add some youth in there out of free agency and see what comes from it?

Next. 2014 Cleveland Browns still in the NFL. dark

Why not take a run at a young, potential starter in for the future, especially if he is already better than what you have in your starting right tackle spot? It can’t be much worse than what they already had, right?
