No. 1: Adam Trautman, Tight End, Dayton

Adam Trautman is another potential tight end that the Cleveland Browns could certainly look to add to their roster in the upcoming 2020 NFL Draft. Trautman stands in at 6-foot-5 and 255 pounds — which is ideal for his position.

He’s proven to be a very reliable and productive tight end as he went for a whopping 70 receptions in 2019 with Dayton to go along with 916 yards as well as 14 touchdowns. Trautman will look to put Dayton football back on the map by being selected in this years upcoming draft.

"“Every level I’ve played at I’ve been told I wasn’t good enough,” he said via Marcus Hartman of the Dayton Daily News. “Coming out of high school, you’re not good enough to play in the (NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision). And then coming out of Dayton, really no one has played in the NFL or been drafted since the ‘70s, so I’m here to keep fighting that, always use that edge and carry it with me.”"

With Trautman already having that chip on the shoulder mentality coming into the NFL, look for him to certainly be able to boost any team’s tight end production and continue to put the Flyers back on the map, one catch at a time.

For Cleveland, he’s worth watching even if they have big plans for David Njoku. Trautman could serve as a solid No. 2 tight end but has the upside to take over down the road should Njoku not live up to the expectations the new staff has for him.
