Round 6, Pick 167: Myles Bryant, CB, Washington

T.J. Carrie was released by general manager Andrew Berry which freed up some cap space but also created a void at the nickel cornerback position. Carrie was paid more than he likely should have been but was good in this regard. It won’t be easy to replace him and thanks to the many other needs on the team, they don’t go for a cornerback until the sixth round.

Having said that, they get a great value here in Washington’s Myles Bryant. Undersized at 5-foot-8 and 183-pounds, Bryant plays with a chip on his shoulder. He’s a converted safety that has no problem getting physical.

His numbers don’t jump off the page but he’s a high-intensity kid that’s worth taking a flier on this late.

Round 7, Pick 221: Stephen Sullivan, TE, LSU

Like Myles Bryant who they took in the sixth-round in this mock, Stephen Sullivan is a high-character guy that understands the game. He might not be the most physically gifted but the 6-foot-5, 248-pounder is a big-target who played both wide receiver and tight end.

He could compete for a spot on this roster with David Njoku, Stephen Carlson, and Ricky Seals-Jones — assuming the restricted free agent returns.

Next. 3 under the radar LB's in draft. dark

Sullivan is raw but Baker Mayfield has always shown a willingness to get the ball to his tight ends and make the most out of their skills.
