2. Jack Conklin, Right Tackle

There is no question the Browns need tremendous help on the offensive line and will surely attempt to bolster their unit via the draft and free agency. One free agent who could help bring a reliable presence is Jack Conklin.

More from Browns News

Conklin has played right tackle for the Tennessee Titans the last 4 years. He earned All-Pro honors his rookie year but has not earned any since, including Pro Bowls.

He is still a very good player in this league and has started every game that he has been healthy in his young career. The Browns need consistency and star power on their line, and Conklin is a guy who can provide that.

It may even be a better thing that Conklin plays right tackle rather than left tackle. This gives the Browns the chance to still draft their left tackle of the future if they want to at number 10 in April’s draft. If Cleveland can somehow sign Conklin at RT and draft a young anchor at LT, they will have a significantly better line and can really explode on the offensive side of the football.

Conklin is one of the best linemen on the market and is still young at 25 years old. It is hard to tell what salary he would demand, although it is probably fairly high because the lineman market is on the rise. As Browns fans know, however, it is hard to put a price tag on consistent and dominant line play. Look for the Browns to take a look at Conklin for their right tackle answer.
