No. 4: Brandon Weeden QB, Oklahoma State: No. 22 overall 2012

Former team president Mike Holmgren and former GM Tom Heckert really messed this pick up. Drafting a then 28-year-old quarterback in the first round was something never seen before. While Brandon Weeden possessed a rocket of an arm, he could never adjust to the pro game from his air raid system in college.

Choosing Weeden over the eventual Seattle Seahawks third-round draft choice Russell Wilson is a mistake that the Browns are still reeling from. And in the first game of his career, in which he got caught under the American flag during the National Anthem, seemed to be a foreshadowing of his eventual time with the Browns.

And while Weeden put up some big numbers in games, he never could fully get a hold of the locker room and the game often seemed too big for him to deal with.

Weeden eventually finished his career as a member with the Browns having thrown for 5,116 yards passing, 23 touchdowns compared to 26 interceptions. Weeden was eventually cut in 2014 and signed with the Dallas Cowboys to back up up Tony Romo.
