Projected contract per overthecap.com: 4 years-$14.1m avg/yr, $31m guaranteed, $56.4m total

The Browns are sure to lose Damarious Randall, as he is an unrestricted free agent. He had a bad year in 2019, as many Browns did, and is most likely not in the teams plans. They have a chance to make a significant upgrade in Anthony Harris.

Anthony Harris is starting to make a name for himself in the NFL. After ranking sixth in coverage grade among safeties in 2018, Harris followed it up with a fantastic 2019 season. He had the top coverage grade among safeties (91.6 per PFF), and his overall grades in 2018 and 2019 were 89.0 and 91.1 respectively, per PFF. Those grades ranked him as the third safety in football in 2018 and the best safety in 2019.

Harris is known as a free safety; however, this past season he was moved into the box and the slot, making him an even more valuable player. He has nine interceptions and seven pass break-ups the past two seasons, while also only missing four total tackles in those two years.

Harris is a sure-tackler and is top in the league in coverage grade. He has immense value on the defensive side of the ball because there are many things he does well.

This is a player the Browns must sign at all costs. Fans upset over play-making safety Jabrill Peppers being shipped out of Cleveland will soon forget him if the Browns are able to land Anthony Harris.
