5. Davon Hamilton, DT, Ohio State

This is an under the radar prospect despite the big-name school that he went because Davon Hamilton only started three games in his college career and most people outside of Columbus probably haven’t heard his name.

But there is a lot of good players that he sat behind at Ohio State and he still managed to play in 40 career games winning three varsity letters. He recorded 41 tackles, 20 tackles for loss and seven sacks.

He had a huge senior year in 2019 for the Buckeyes, recording 9.5 tackles for loss and six sacks which were just an explosion because he only had one total sack in his first three seasons.

Despite his lack of numbers, he has good film and the 6-foot-4, 320-pound defensive tackle is ranked 88th overall and ninth at his position by CBS sports. He has the size and the ability to make a difference in the NFL and possibly turn into a guy who can play on every down.

Every team needs depth on the defensive line and the Browns are no exception. Hamilton can provide some relief in the run game which Cleveland struggled with, ranking 30th last year.

Hamilton can be a good rotation piece with Larry Ogunjobi and Sheldon Richardson on the interior of the defensive line and can be a good value pick in the second or third round, listen for his name on the second day.
