3. Michael Warren II, RB, Cincinnati

You might be thinking the Browns have two of the best running backs in the league but you can never have enough bodies at that position. There is always value in drafting a running back no matter where you take them in the draft.

Michael Warren II is the 213 ranked prospect according to CBS sports despite having two incredible seasons at the University of Cincinnati. He had his best campaign in 2018 when he rushed for 1,329 yards and 19 touchdowns. He followed that up with 1,265 yards and 14 touchdowns in 2019 yet he is still the 17th ranked running back.

He’s compactly built and is very strong, he also has the ability to break tackles and run inside the box. He doesn’t have breakaway speed but has good hands to catch the ball out the backfield.

Warren is a physical runner and got over 500 carries the past two seasons for the Bearcats, that is a lot of work for a downhill runner. He also had some trouble in pass protection so he will have to clean that up if he wants playing time.

But Warren is a player that the Browns can draft in the late rounds and stash him on special teams for when they need him. Running backs get injured a lot so if you lose Nick Chubb or Kareem Hunt he can be a reliable replacement. Warren may go undrafted which would make him an even bigger value if Cleveland decides to bring him in.
