2. Josiah Deguara, TE, Cincinnati

Josiah Deguara is another player who had high production in college but there isn’t a lot of hype around him but he is still a very intriguing prospect. In his last two seasons, he recorded 77 receptions for 972 yards and 12 touchdowns which is pretty good especially for not playing with a top-flight quarterback.

He is 6-foot-2, 242-pounds so he is slightly small for a tight end but it doesn’t affect his blocking.

His technique is good and he wants to be block which might be the most important aspect. He ran a 4.7 40-yard dash and 28 reps on the bench press so he has good speed and strength.

He has an innate ability to find openings in the defense and has strong hands although he is pretty average after the catch. Deguara is undersized and not the most athletic guy so he might struggle to get open against some matchups.

He is a player that could possibly switch to a hybrid fullback where he will lineup in the backfield and the line of scrimmage and he will block and catch passes from those spots. This should be extremely intriguing for Stefanski who used a hybrid back a lot in Minnesota with guys like Kyle Rudolph and C.J. Ham.

Deguara can fit that role perfectly for Cleveland and is an ideal pairing with Njoku because he excels blocking which Njoku has struggled with. Deguara could be picked on day three but have an immediate impact.
