With the Cleveland Browns needing to be big spenders in this years free agency, here is a look at a few guys they should stay away from.

As we all know, the Cleveland Browns have a lot of holes to fill on their current roster. Looking at it now, positions such as linebacker, safety, and offensive tackle are a few big holes on the roster that definitely need to be patched up, whether they do it through the draft or through free agency.

In the past several years, the Browns have been known not to spend much money when it comes to free agency and they have let guys walk or go to other teams when in reality they should have made the splash and brought that certain guy in.

With the recent news of the Browns deciding to let Joe Schobert leave in free agency while also cutting Christian Kirksey, it seems as though the Browns definitely have a plan. The problem is, this plan is one that a lot of fans are very concerned about with the reaction of letting both of those linebackers go being not very pleasant.

With the way things are trending for the Browns right now, it is pretty reasonable to say the Browns are going to be decent spenders in this year’s free agency with all of the guys that are free agents this often, despite the track record of the Browns not spending much money. Out of all of the guys they could potentially land, here is a look at three guys they should avoid in free agency this year.
