No. 1: Tom Brady, QB

This should be obvious, right? Why would the Browns try and bring in a 42-year-old quarterback when they have their current franchise quarterback in Baker Mayfield?

Shockingly enough, some Browns fans actually think bringing in Tom Brady would be a good idea. ESPN Cleveland took to a poll to see if Cleveland would rather have Tom Brady or Baker Mayfield be the starting quarterback for the Browns.

Rightfully so, the fans voted 71 percent in favor of keeping Baker Mayfield How crazy would it be to have Tom Brady throwing balls to Odell Beckham Jr and Jarvis Landry?

No chance. Brady is also going to want a lot of money, as we all know he is arguably the best quarterback of all time. If the Browns were to spend tons of money in free agency to try to land Brady, it would go down as one of the worst moves in franchise history.

Baker Mayfield is not going to want to sit a year, nor should he sit a year. As much as he struggled this past season, he now has a new head coach that helped Kirk Cousins be successful at times in the NFL. Imagine what new coach Kevin Stefanski is going to do in the progression of our young franchise quarterback is exciting.

So again, signing Tom Brady and trying to make a run with the 42-year-old legend is a bad, bad idea and the Browns would be taking a massive step back if they decided to do so.
