1. Anthony Harris, Minnesota Vikings

Let’s be honest here. No player seems to be a better fit with the Cleveland Browns this offseason than Anthony Harris, a safety who rose to prominence with the Minnesota Vikings after being signed as an undrafted free agent out of Virginia in 2015.

After hardly seeing the field as a rookie, Harris became a rotational player in 2016 and had a strong campaign with 41 tackles. However, he was still a reserve and it wasn’t until 2018 when Harris really broke out.

That year, he stepped in for an injured Andrew Sendejo and recorded 46 tackles and his first three career picks. He then re-signed with the Vikings for one season and had an even better campaign with 60 tackles and six picks.

For the Browns, he fills one of their biggest needs and also has a connection to head coach Kevin Stefanski. Cleveland’s rookie coach was with Minnesota for the entirety of Harris’ career. While they weren’t working on the same side of the ball, they know one another well and Stefanski practiced every day against Harris, allowing him to see just how talented he is.

Any of these players would be a great addition for the Browns and it would help them not feel as much pressure in the draft to find a replacement for Damarious Randall — or competition for Morgan Burnett.
