Cleveland Browns: Five ideal 2020 NFL Draft prospects
Mekhi Becton, OT, Louisville
Offensive tackle should be the top priority for the Cleveland Browns this off-season. There are several Pro-Bowl caliber free agent offensive tackles this year, but if the Browns decide to look long-term, drafting one with their first-round pick is the best idea.

The reason it’s the best idea is that you get a young player on a rookie contract with a team option for the fifth year.
The money you save by drafting a player rather than signing one with a bloated contract in free agency can be used towards other players to add depth to positions that really need it.
Offensive tackle isn’t a position for the Browns that just needs depth, but rather a position that needs a star.
Mekhi Becton has everything you want in an offensive tackle to not just be good, but to be the next star offensive tackle in the NFL. Weighing in at six-foot-seven and 369 pounds, Becton is a man mover. He’s able to move incredibly well for his size, and has the arm length you look for in your tackle to engage defenders early and hold the block.
Becton has been climbing up draft boards, and will only continue to do so if he continues to work out for teams privately as well as he did at the NFL Combine.
The Browns most glaring weakness, thanks solely to the previous regime, can be improved greatly with the selection of Becton with the 10th overall pick come April 23rd.
