The Cleveland Browns have said they will be aggressive to acquire talent, so here’s a look at free agents from the NFC the Browns should consider targeting.

The Cleveland Browns have a new regime and approach in the front office, led by Andrew Berry and Paul DePodesta. With a deeper analytical approach to building their roster, the Browns will have a more measured plan to free agency.

However, that will not stop Berry from aggressively adding talent to the roster, as Berry said he plans on being aggressive when building the roster. The Browns have a window of utilizing their young talent on cheap deals and complementing them with top free agents.

With players like Baker Mayfield, Nick Chubb, and Myles Garrett still on their rookie deals, the Browns have an opportunity to use their cap space to put the Browns in a window of contention. But with all three players needing extensions in the near future, this is the last offseason the Browns will be able to truly be aggressive in free agency and go after the top free agents.

The Browns have several needs across their roster, including several starting positions up for grabs. Although the draft can be used to build depth, the Browns can use free agency to add known commodities to their roster to compete for starting jobs.

Although there is a group of free agents who are heavily connected to the Browns, there are free agents from every team who could help the Browns. Here is a look at one free agent from each team who would help the Browns, starting with teams from the NFC.
