Larry Ogunjobi, Defensive Tackle

Larry Ogunjobi had a good rookie year, but this past season, his third season in the league and the year he was supposed to come into his own and rise to stardom, was his worst by far: 95th among interior defensive linemen in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus.

The man was set to have a career year with the hyped up defensive line. Fans were set on Ogunjobi coming out of his shell and emerging as a stud interior defender on a team that has been missing that piece of the defense for years now.

Look for him to be traded or put on the block early coming into this season. Ogunjobi is coming into a contract year, and after having two consecutive down years, and this is a make it or break season for him no matter how you cut it. His play was awful last year. For being one of the strongest players on the team, he has not been able to put it all together as of yet.

Maybe a new coaching staff, again, will help him put his skill-set together and break out of his shell of mediocrity. Who knows? Ogunjobi is a likable player on and off the field, but as fans, if you’re not producing on the field, being a nice guy off the field doesn’t matter much. The Cleveland Browns will trade Ogunjobi this year to try to get something back for him.
