The Browns made no mistake when it comes to improving the safety position when they signed Karl Joseph to a one-year deal.

With the addition of Karl Joseph, the Browns could without a doubt still look for more help when it comes to addressing the secondary. After watching some film and highlights on Delpit, there are a few conclusions that can be made: he is quick, can fill holes almost as if he is a linebacker, and overall has decent size for his position.

Delpit also shows grit and toughness, as he played through a high ankle sprain for some of his 2019 college campaign. While he had five interceptions in 2018, he followed up with just one interception in 2019.

His tackling numbers were also down in terms of from 2018 to 2019, as he went from 74 total tackles to 65 over the year. Coming off of winning a National Championship from the 2020 College Football Playoff, Delpit will be hungry for success on whatever team he lands on come draft time.

Watching highlights from Delpit in his college career, he seems to be an exciting player who could get First Energy rocking on many different occasions. Again, this would be a dream scenario for the Browns to land these players and the expectations would be through the roof.
