C.J. Henderson. 17. player. 123. . Cornerback. Dallas Cowboys

While the Dallas Cowboys may be looking to pair another edge rusher with Demarcus Lawrence, they won’t be able to pass on replacing Byron Jones with the corner from Florida, C.J. Henderson.  The Cowboys will likely be after a defensive lineman, but now later in the draft.

Henderson goes as early as 12 in a few mock drafts because of his tight coverage skills. The Florida product is known to struggle to tackle, but that’s not as big of an issue if no one catches the ball against you. The Cowboys will be one step closer to replenishing their secondary with Henderson at pick no. 17.

18. player. 59. . Offensive Tackle. Miami Dolphins. Josh Jones

TRADE from Pittsburgh Steelers

The Miami Dolphins will have landed their franchise quarterback at pick no. 5 in Justin Herbert, now look for them to try and protect Herbert with an addition to the offensive line. This pick comes from the Pittsburgh Steelers after trading Minka Fitzpatrick last season. Unfortunately, the top four offensive tackles will be off the board, but Josh Jones from Houston would have likely gone much higher if the tackle class wouldn’t have been so strong.

Jones is a step below the top four tackles but after a strong year, Jones proved his tremendous upside after performing well at the Senior Bowl. After a strong offseason, the Dolphins look to walk away from this draft with a starting tackle and quarterback for 2020 and look to make some noise in the AFC East after the departure of Brady from the conference.

Linebacker. Las Vegas Raiders. Kenneth Murray. 19. player. 28.

TRADE from Chicago Bears

This pick stems back from the Khalil Mack trade to the Chicago Bears.  With the newly formed Las Vegas Raiders upgrading at wide receiver earlier in the draft, now look for them to turn to the defense. After signing linebacker Cory Littleton earlier in free agency, look for the Raiders to expand and add additional linebacker depth with Kenneth Murray from Oklahoma.

Murray is a speedy linebacker who can make plays sideline to sideline. Murray could easily transition to weak or strong-side linebacker and would be a dangerous tandem with Littleton who can also cover a tremendous amount of turf.
