2020 NFL Draft: Full round-one mock draft, Cleveland Browns with big win
By Greg Newland

59. . Safety. Miami Dolphins. Xavier McKinney. 26. player
TRADE from Houston Texans
The Miami Dolphins will be on the clock for the third time in the first round for the 2020 draft at pick no. 26. This pick comes from the Laremy Tunsil and Kenny Stills trade to Houston last season. After bolstering their offense with a quarterback and offensive tackle already, look for the Dolphins to shift to the defensive side of the ball and take the Alabama safety, Xavier McKinney.
After losing an Alabama safety in Minka Fitzpatrick last season to the Steelers, McKinney could be a perfect replacement. McKinney has the size of an NFL safety at six feet in height and 201 pounds but brings the additional versatility of being able to cover the slot. McKinney will need to improve his open-field tackling but will likely be the Dolphins starting safety in week one of the 2020 season.
player. 36. . Defensive End. Seattle Seahawks. Yetur Gross-Matos. 27
After losing production from Frank Clark on the defensive line who was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs before 2019, look for the Seattle Seahawks to add a pass-rusher with their first-round pick. It’s also looking more and more like the possible departure of Jadeveon Clowney is inevitable.
Yetur Gross-Matos is a defensive end from Penn State who has shown tremendous ability thus far but still has a lot of room for development. Gross-Matos totaled 17.5 sacks his final two years in Happy Valley while also earning first-team all-conference honors. Gross-Matos will need some time to build up strength and finesse rush moves, but it is only a matter of time before he will be a force in the NFL.
26. . Offensive Guard. Baltimore Ravens. Netane Muti. 28. player
While the Baltimore Ravens will be picking No. 28 in the 2020 draft, fans aren’t happy about the ending to the 2020 season. Many expected a match-up with the 49ers in the Super Bowl before being knocked off in the divisional round by the Tennessee Titans.
After the retirement of Marshal Yanda, look for the Ravens to focus on keeping the offensive line top tier to block for Lamar Jackson and Mark Ingram. Netane Muti, a guard from Fresno State could be a risky pick at no. 28, with huge returns if it pays off.
Muti is a mean downhill guard who would fit the Ravens system perfectly but has limited reps in college because of multiple injuries. At this time, Muti is healthy and is certainly worthy of being picked in round 1, but the Ravens must complete their due diligence to make sure injuries aren’t a concern moving forward.
