812. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. S. player. Round 7. Pick 244. JordanFuller

With the last pick in the draft for the Browns, Cleveland lands Jordan Fuller, a safety from Ohio State. Jordan Fuller was a four-year player for a very talented Buckeye team and was a captain for OSU his junior and senior seasons.

Fuller is an extremely smart football player as he was a first-team Academic All-American. He is not overly athletic, but he has great football IQ and always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Fuller takes the right angles and makes sure not to give up the big play.

Given the Browns need safety help and there are holes in the defensive secondary, Fuller just makes too much sense here for Cleveland. They took Delpit in round two and add another quality safety here in round seven.

He went to Ohio State so that means he would be welcomed gladly here in Cleveland. Round seven selections are not expected to play right away and actually rarely make the roster. But given fuller was a four-year player and two-time captain for the Buckeyes, he is a safe pick with some upside for the Browns.

Fuller can come in and provide some good depth, competition in the safety room, and contribute on special teams. All in all, Fuller is a good pick for the Browns in the seventh round.

This mock is fantastic for Cleveland. They land the left tackle of their future, a playmaking safety, starting middle linebacker replacement, and then some depth and added talent to the offensive and defensive line, receiver and again at safety.

Every player selected is extremely talented and can help the Browns fill their holes and polish out their roster for a strong 2020.
