1. Donovan Peoples-Jones, Wide Receiver

The Browns are very top-heavy at receiver with Odell Beckham, Jr. and Jarvis Landry on their roster. In what was considered a down season for their offense, OBJ and Landry each had over 1,000-yards receiving. The problem is, there’s very little on the roster behind those two.

Right now, KhaDarel Hodge and Damion Ratley are in line to fight for the No. 3 receiver position. They do have Austin Hooper and No. 2 tight end David Njoku who can help tremendously but they still need to add more depth at wide receiver.

They can also stand to get taller on the boundary. Both Beckham and Landry are under 6-foot tall meaning they need someone who can be a bigger target for Baker Mayfield. Enter Donovan Peoples-Jones, who is very likely to be on the board during the third day of the draft. And if he is, the Browns should have no problem selecting him.

Peoples-Jones has excellent size at 6-foot-2 and 207-pounds and has the potential to be a better pro player than he was a collegiate player. DPJ is an excellent route runner with solid hands but his numbers were limited by the poor performance of his quarterback.

In the NFL, he won’t have as many inconsistencies passes and on a team such as Cleveland, he can also be forgotten about with bigger names around him — which could lead to some big plays.

These three players could all realistically land in Cleveland in the upcoming draft and would surely round out their roster.
