In a perfect world, Colorado linebacker Davion Taylor would still be available for the Browns to take with this selection. His draft stock is all over the place as he is being projected to go anywhere from the third to the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Again, Taylor would fill a major area of need at linebacker for this Browns team.

Taylor’s size and lack of experience push him down the boards a bit but his speed and playmaking ability make him an attractive option for Cleveland in the sixth round.

Davion Taylor is an athletic freak late-round draft pick for the linebacker position. Taylor registered an impressive 4.49 40-yard dash time at NFL Combine and he plays fast on the field as well. While he is a bit small for an NFL linebacker, his athleticism and productivity more than make up for it.

Taylor finished his Colorado career with 129 total tackles and 18 tackles for a loss during two seasons in Boulder after transferring in from junior college in 2018.

So while his lack of experience is a negative for him, his potential and upside are exactly what you are looking for when selecting a player in the sixth round of the draft.
