Taking a late-round flyer on a tailback, the Cleveland Browns select Michael Warren II from Cincinnati. Warren had an extremely productive career for the Bearcats as he had 2918 rushing yards and 34 rushing touchdowns, leaving them second all time in rushing scores.
He posses great size for a running back at 5-foot 11 inches tall and 222 pounds in weight. He is considered a true all-purpose back as he can both run with power to get the tough yards but also has been able to breakaway from defenders in the open field.

He had 1,265 yards last season for Luke Fickell’s squad and posted 14 touchdowns. Productivity is off the charts with Warren and he has very good one-step cuts that turn a three-yard gain into a 20 yard gain.
Overall speed and lack of competition will drop Warren to the later portion of the draft but he absolutely could be a steal in this zone blocking scheme that Cleveland is about to incorporate.
And with Kareem Hunt entering the final year of his contract, it may be wise for the Browns to use a late-round flyer on a running back. Having the chance to sit behind two of the best tailbacks in the game should benefit Warren a great deal as well.
