Week 4: Oct. 4 – at Dallas Cowboys
In rhythm after the last two games, the Cowboys offense will be a big test for the Browns. After accepting an early loss to the Ravens, this will be the first true test to tell you if the Browns are ready to take the next step. Look for the Browns offense to take shape and sneak out of Dallas with a victory.
Week 5: Oct. 11 – Indianapolis Colts
After a three-game win streak, this feels like time for a reality check. The Browns CAN win this game, but unfortunately, this will be a look ahead game to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Philip Rivers and crew will have just enough to steal a win in Cleveland. This will be a tough early loss, but nothing to set back a season.
Week 6: Oct. 18 – at Pittsburgh Steelers
After coming off a disappointing loss at home, the Browns will head to a division rival, Pittsburgh. This will be a tough battle as the Steelers defense will likely be top-five. However, the Brown’s balanced attack on offense and pass rush on defense will be too much for the Steelers. It’s not every year the Browns win a division road game, but look for them to get one in Pittsburg week six taking them to 4-2 on the season.
Week 7: Oct 25 – at Cincinnati Bengals
The first back-to-back road games come with an easier opponent in the Bengals. Yes, Cincinnati has been active this offseason, but Burrow will only have six games of NFL experience under his belt. The Browns luck out in 2020 getting the Bengals twice before the halfway point in the season, and that will help them sweep their Ohio rival. With a 5-2 record just before the halfway point, the Browns are still in good shape to make the playoffs.
Record for Oct: 3-1
Overall record: 5-2
