Week 13 at Tennessee Titans

The Browns and Titans faced off last year in Week 1, as the Titans beat the Browns by a score of 43-13. It was a brutal wake up call to start the season, and frankly the Browns never bounced back. That game exposed the Browns’ weakness in the run game and that was symptomatic for the remainder of the season.

The Titans went on to make the AFC Championship game, where they eventually fell to the Chiefs after leading big to start the game. This year, the Browns will play the Titans in Week 13 and will have more time to prepare. The Browns better come ready to play and stop the run game led by Derrick Henry.

The Browns are more than capable of winning this game. They have improved their depth at defensive line and linebacker with players who are good in the run game. These players include incredibly strong defensive tackle Andrew Billings, veteran defensive end Adrian Clayborn, rookie linebacker Jacob Phillips, veteran linebacker B.J. Goodson, and even hard-hitting safety Karl Joseph.

The Browns will have a real test here, but fortunately it won’t be in Week 1 of the season. The game is away this year, which makes it more of a challenge, but look for Cleveland to be ready for the Titans run game.
