Andrew Sendejo 6-foot-1, 210-pounds —  10th year

Andrew Sendejo is the most experienced player the Browns have currently in their DB and safety position groups. With nine years worth of experience coming into this season, Sendejo brings a nice veteran presence to a group of young DB’s and safeties.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

He played for Minnesota for eight and a half years as he started with Philadelphia in 2019 but finished up with Minnesota at the end of the season.

After finishing 2017 with one of the best years of his career, 2018 saw him being injured and only playing in 5 games. Last season Sendejo had 45 tackles and three interceptions showing that he is still a reliable option on defense.

Last year he did give up two touchdowns through the air but still proved that he could tackle in space only missing 10 percent of his attempted tackles.

Sendejo is a former Viking brought on by one of his former coaches who his now currently the head coach. Sendejo signed a one-year $2.25 million contract this offseason so it’ll be interesting to see if he becomes just a veteran presence or is a starter come Week 1.

He has a chance to help Redwine and Delpit develop as he brings a lot of experience to the table. He’s proven that he can still keep up in this league but time will tell if this could be the year for struggle or a resurgence.
