The Cleveland Browns make and win a playoff game:

With a competent head coach, I look for the Browns to make huge strides in the 2020 season.  The Stefanski offensive system will be extremely helpful for Mayfield, and the Browns have Nick Chubb who will pound the rock next season. Let’s not forget the weapons that Mayfield will have to throw the ball to in Beckham, Jarvis Landry, and newly added Austin Hooper.  Forget 2019 folks, Kitchens wasn’t cut out to be a head coach/play-caller in the NFL.

All Browns fans want is an AFC North title, but let’s be realistic, it’s going to be tough to beat the Steelers twice and Baltimore once in the 2020 season. It’s reasonable to see the Browns going 4-2 in the division and 9-7 overall. With two wins over the Cincinnati Bengals and splitting series with the Steelers and Ravens, 4-2 is likely not enough to knock the Ravens out of the spot in the North.

THAT’S OKAY, the first playoff berth since 2002 is HUGE for the team and the city. It’s also step one in changing the losing culture and fans would finally be satisfied.

With a 9-7 record, the Browns would likely be a wildcard team and go on the road week one of the playoffs. With the Ravens and Chiefs likely to get the bye week, the Browns can easily win a road game.

The Indianapolis Colts, Houston Texans, or Buffalo Bills could be likely opponents, all which would be tough, but winnable. After visiting Pittsburgh and Baltimore each season, the Browns will be prepared to handle any environment.

Under the guidance and leadership of Stefanski, look for the Browns to get on track early in 2020. A division title is unlikely, but with an improved Mayfield and having Myles Garrett back, the Browns will get their first playoff win since 1994. What a feeling to get that monkey off their back.
