No 2. Wide receivers

In terms of the Browns receiving unit as a whole, I’m not sure there is one deeper than the Browns in the entire NFL.

Starting at the Browns go to number one receiver in Odell Beckham, he managed to put up 1,035 yards and 4 touchdowns with a bad offensive line and bad quarterback play. Beckham also played though a torn abductor and a torn rectus abdominis. After Beckham, they have Jarvis Landry, a guy who has quickly become a fan favorite in Cleveland.

Landry also put up 1,000 plus yards last season, going for 1,174 yards and 6 touchdowns. Ever since arriving in Cleveland, Landry has embodied what it is truly like to put on brown and orange. Passionate, determination, and leadership are just three of the many traits to describe him.

After being in the doghouse last year, the Browns were able to bring back Rashard Higgins on a one year, veteran minimum deal. While he didn’t get the chance to showcase his production last year, it is clear Mayfield and Higgins have a major connection. In Baker Mayfield’s rookie season, Higgins went for 572 yards and 4 touchdowns, the best numbers of his young career by far.

In what is said to be a sleeper for potential “steal of the draft”, the Browns drafted Donovan Peoples-Jones out of Michigan. His size and athletic ability are two things that scouts have always loved about him. In his final season with Michigan where he was severely miss-used, he managed to put up 438 yards and 6 touchdowns.

In the right system with the right coaches and surroundings, Peoples-Jones could be a huge boost to the Browns already stacked offense.
