1. Joey Bosa, EDGE, Los Angeles Chargers

Many Cleveland Browns fans also find themselves rooting for the Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturdays, which means they have already spent a lot of time cheering on Joey Bosa. The No. 3 overall pick in 2016 for the Los Angeles Chargers, Bosa has already put together a great career in the NFL.

As a rookie, he recorded 10.5 sacks despite missing the first four games as he and the Chargers engaged in a long contract dispute. Bosa earned the NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year for his efforts. He then recorded 12.5 sacks as a sophomore but an injury slowed him down in 2018 and he played in only seven games.

Bosa was back at full strength in 20019 and finished with 67 tackles and 11.5 sacks. He now enters the final season of his rookie contract and it wouldn’t be a shock to see him hit the open market given the way the Chargers and his representation struggled to come to terms even when money wasn’t the key argument.

This is where the Browns could come in. Perhaps Andrew Berry could convince the brass in Los Angeles that it would be better to take an enticing trade package from them rather than lose Bosa only to get a compensatory pick down the road.

Sure it’s a dream scenario, but fans would love to bring the Ohio State product back and put him on the same line as Myles Garrett.
