1. Nick Chubb, Running Back

Are Cleveland Browns fans under-hyping Nick Chubb? No. So how does he fall in here at No. 1? Simple, because the rest of the league is sleeping on him.

Last season, Chubb looked to have the league’s rushing title in hand, finishing with 1,494 yards. He ended up missing out on it though as the Tennessee Titans made a concerted effort to get Derrick Henry the title. After missing Week 16, Henry was back on the field in Week 17 and got a season-high in both carries (32) and yards (211) which put him at 1,540 for the season.

Now as we head into 2020, players such as Henry, Christian McCaffrey, Dalvin Cook, and Ezekiel Elliott are still being talked about as the best in the business. And while all of them are great in their own right, Chubb is right there with them.

Not to mention, he did his damage last season with a rather porous offensive line, shoddy passing game, and questionable play-calling. Had any of those things gone more in his favor, he would have been able to win the rushing title.

As it stands, he’s the first Cleveland running back to top the 1,000-yard mark since Peyton Hillis and he proved over the past two seasons in the league that he can carry a team on his back. This season, he will get the chance to prove that as Kevin Stefanski has had no qualms about putting the offense in the hands of the running back.
