3. Alshon Jeffery, Wide Receiver

There has been speculation about the future of wideout Alshon Jeffery, going all the way back to last season and he was less than satisfied with the rumors surrounding him.

When you look at his contract and his ability to stay on the field you can understand why the Philadelphia Eagles would want to move on from him and Jeffery doesn’t seem the type of guy to stay where he’s not wanted.

He played in all 16 games three years ago when the Eagles won the Super Bowl. Since then, it’s been a different story as he missed three games in 2018 and six games last year with a Lisfranc foot injury that could still be lingering around.

When he’s healthy, Jeffery is without a doubt a force, especially in the red zone. He has 19 touchdown catches in three seasons in Philadelphia.

That would mostly be his role if the Browns decide to roll the dice and acquire him because Odell Beckham, Jarvis Landry, and Austin Hooper will handle most of the receiving load. But Jeffery could be an elite red-zone weapon which Cleveland lacks right now.

It wouldn’t be wise to give up more than a late-round pick for him but the Eagles may be willing to do that consider where their relationship is and where Jeffery is in his career.
