No 2. Nick Chubb (92 overall)

With no disrespect to the leader and future of the Cleveland Browns defense after signing a 5 year, $125 million extension, this is where Madden got it wrong within the top rankings for the Browns this year.

Nick Chubb comes in at No. 2 in terms of top-rated Browns players for the new Madden. If you are talking all-around player, Chubb is without a doubt the best overall player on this Browns roster. From his production on the field, to him always just keeping his head down and working without saying a word, there is nothing not to like about Chubb.

You can make a strong argument that Chubb lost the rushing title last year due to the incompetent Freddie Kitchens not giving him the ball enough, especially in that final game against the Bengals. Either way, Chubb still rushed for 1,494 yards last season and 8 touchdowns. Chubb was at the top when it comes to PFF rankings as well, grading him a solid 88.7.

A very, very strong argument can be presented that Chubb is the best pure running back in the NFL. Guys like Christian McCaffrey are so elusive in the passing game as well, making the best all-around running back debate a tough one.

It is pretty safe to say that Chubb will rush for another 1,000-plus yard season again this year and be a huge part of what the Browns hope to be a successful offensive team this season.
