Logan Ryan

I said it before and I’ll say it again; get Logan Ryan in a Cleveland Browns uniform. This dude is as versatile as they come. He wants to play safety, but he has predominantly played cornerback throughout his career. Bring him in, let him play both, let him be the Swiss-army knife he wants to become.

Ryan could help replace both Grant Delpit and Greedy Williams at the same time. He could start out at cornerback and when Williams gets healthy, he could drop back to safety. Sheldrick Redwine is prepared to have his opportunity playing for Williams, but it would not hurt at all to have Ryan starting ahead of him, or at least splitting reps.

Depth is something that the Cleveland Browns secondary is really lacking at the moment, and there is no better depth piece than someone who can play literally every position in the secondary. Ryan is a starting talent in the NFL, don’t get that twisted. His value as a Swiss-army knife is his most valuable trait for the Browns at the moment, though. I’ll be very surprised if Logan Ryan is not a member of the Cleveland Browns organization at some point this season.
