WR Dede Westbrook

Entering his fourth season in the NFL, the former fourth round pick in 2017 NFL Draft may be on the fringe of the roster in Jacksonville. At a low cost, the risk may be worth the reward for the Browns as roster cutdowns are soon to happen with the season now 13 days away.

With over 100 targets over the past two seasons with the Jaguars, Westbrook has shown the ability to contribute at the NFL level. Throughout the first three seasons of his career, Westbrook has racked up over 1,700 yards receiving and nine touchdowns on 159 catches catching passes from the likes of Blake Bortles, Nick Foles, and Gardner Minshew.

Is Cleveland set at the wide receiver position in 2020? They have the potential depth to thrive this year with Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry at the top with Rashard Higgins and Donovan Peoples-Jones beneath them. If the Browns are looking for a more consistent and seasoned wide receiver to add to the roster, Dede Westbrook could be on the table for them.

He is only under contract for one more year, so the Browns could take a dart throw at him with a late day-three pick and hope to rejuvenate his career as they have done with the likes of Breshad Perriman in the past.
