Cleveland Browns Roster Prediction: Offensive Line (9)

This group has overgone some changes as the Cleveland Browns finally addressed the offensive tackle position. With two new bookends, they’re looking much better in 2020 than they did in 2019.

Jedrick Wills, Jr., Joel Bitonio, J.C. Tretter, Wyatt Teller, Jack Conklin, Chris Hubbard, Kendall Lamm, Nick Harris, Willie Wright

Jedrick Wills is moving from the right side (which is where he played at Alabama) to the left. He’s athletic enough to get the job done at an elite level but he’s behind the eight-ball thanks to the team having no offseason work. On the right side, Jack Conklin has that locked down and should be a great fit for this offense.

In the interior, there’s Wyatt Teller at right guard and Joel Bitonio on the left side. Bitonio has grown out a massive beard which is so fitting for him. As for Teller, he could be the one question on the line, but he did play well at the end of 2019.

J.C. Tretter is the center and he’s a great leader on the line. The problem is, he’s coming off a knee surgery so they might have to lean on rookie Nick Harris in Week 1. That also helps Willie Wright make the team since they will need a possible third center with Tretter not at 100 percent, and Wright can play there.

Kendall Lamm and Chris Hubbard round things out as the reserve tackles. Watch for Alex Taylor, a UDFA from South Carolina to push for a spot. If they go 10 deep, he seems to be the guy. But for now, we stick with nine as the lack of a preseason limits Taylor to the practice squad early on.
