OT Alex Taylor

There is no more tantalizing player the Browns were forced to cut in order to clear their roster to 53 players than undrafted rookie offensive tackle Alex Taylor. The South Carolina State converted basketball player looks like he was made in a lab as he has absolute vines for arms, measuring in at over 36 inches long, as he stands in at 6-foot-8 and 308 pounds.

An absolute specimen, Taylor lacks the football experience and technique to stick around on the final 53 as a rookie, and suffering a potential season-ending injury on top of that did not help his case. The best-case scenario for the Browns is for him to clear waivers so they can stick him on the injured reserve for a year, give him more time to learn from offensive line coach Bill Callahan, and rehab and bulk up before next year’s training camp.

Given his extraordinary frame, another team may have the same idea as the Browns, however, to stash him on their practice squad or injured reserve. However, if he happens to make it through the day unclaimed by another team, the Browns have the chance to mold an extremely interesting ball of clay in the form of Taylor.
