3. Nick Chubb

Nick Chubb is going to be a huge factor in Sunday’s matchup. He is one of the most talented backs in the game and will be an integral part of Cleveland’s success this season. Stefanski will run the ball early and often Sunday, and in order to win the game Chubb will need to have a very successful outing.

Last season in Cleveland’s Week 4 win over Baltimore, Chubb did just that. He had 20 carries for 165 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Browns to a huge 40-25 victory. He was a very big reason the Browns beat the Ravens so heavily last season and is going to be one of the biggest focuses yet again.

Kareem hunt is back this year for the start of the season so he and Chubb will surely split some touches, but Chubb will still be the focal point in the rushing attack and must have a big impact. If Chubb can even come close to repeating his production from last year’s game, the Browns have a much higher chance of winning. If the Ravens defense neutralizes Chubb and Cleveland’s rushing attack, it may be a long night for the Browns.

As the running game succeeds, it opens windows in the passing game and creates a better flow in the new offense. Stefanski will find ways to get his playmakers the football and it is going to start with Nick Chubb. He was the second leading rusher in the league last season and look for him to open the season with a strong performance against the AFC North rivals.
