Cleveland Browns: Andrew Berry receiving high praise among peers

Berry gaining recognition around the league
Berry has laid all of the foundation and performed a massive overhaul in just his first year ever as a general manager. The youngest general manager in the National Football League, Berry has worked through the ranks, working with the likes of Sashi Brown, Ryan Grigson in Indianapolis, and Philadelphia Eagles’ general manager Howie Roseman. He is snatching the attention of his peers around the league.
In an article published by ESPN’s Seth Walder, he interviewed 26 team staffers around the league in order to figure out which teams had the most analytical influence. In this study, Walder found that the Browns have the second most influence of any team, behind just the division rival Baltimore Ravens. However, even more interesting was a quote about Berry that came out of the article that one anonymous staffer had to say:
"“Andrew Berry, he’s a true believer… He’s one of these rare guys you’ll come across … in life where you think to yourself, ‘Man, this guy thinks at a different level. Just pure genius.’ He’s one of them.”"
In just his short time in Cleveland as well, Berry was voted as one of the most trustworthy general managers in the NFL, finishing third in an anonymous poll among GMs done by Ben Standig of The Athletic.
Berry must be doing something right to see two units of his roster already playing at an elite level after floundering a year ago, and to be praised as highly as he already is. A student of the game, Berry has the Cleveland Browns back on the map.
