Dud: S Andrew Sendejo

Wash, rinse, repeat.

Through three weeks the signing of veteran safety Andrew Sendejo has not paid off for the Browns as he once again looks like father time has caught up to him. To the benefit of the Browns, however, he has been forced into a role he was never intended to play after the injury to second-round safety Grant Delpit.

Sendejo was more than likely brought in to be a veteran presence who understands the type of defense Joe Woods wants to run. As more of a teacher than a significant contributor, Sendejo would have been a fantastic mentor for the likes of Delpit and Sheldrick Redwine. However, after the injury to Delpit, Sendejo was then tasked as the starting free safety for the Browns as they are still working to get the newest member of that room in Ronnie Harrison up to speed.

As ascending quarterback Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys are up next for the Browns, they better have Harrison ready as Sendejo is just not cutting it. If not, it may be time to turn the keys over to Harrison anyway and let him learn trial by fire. Either that or let Redwine see some snaps at the free safety position.
