Dud: Health

It was really hard to find duds in this game for the Browns. We could point out their end of the game defense which allowed the Cowboys to get it as close as 41-38 but that was simply them playing a prevent defense and Dallas making it work — teams do this a lot and it always makes games closer than they need to be. Instead of looking at that, we will look at the elephant in the room — injuries.

As much as Cleveland impressed on Sunday, they continued to have problems staying healthy. They lost Nick Chubb to a knee injury early and then later saw a couple of defensive linemen go down. Larry Ogunjobi was hurt as was Sheldon Richardson. The good news is that Richardson came back in, but was seen leaving the field in pain again shortly after that.

This is in addition to the Browns already being without players such as Greedy Williams and Grant Delpit. They also have some guys slowed down as Mack Wilson was able to get back on the field but he didn’t look like himself.

If Cleveland is going to make a run this season to the playoffs, they are going to need find a way to shake this injury bug. They have done a good job fighting through it, but can only take so much.
